Kobrin Financial Services Receives 2009 Best of Santa Rosa Award
U.S. Local Business Association's Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., March 20, 2009 -- For the second consecutive year, Kobrin Financial Services has been selected for the 2009 Best of Santa Rosa Award in the Retirement Planning Services category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Nationwide, only 1 in 70 (1.4%) 2008 Award recipients qualified as 2009 Award Winners. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.

February's Chamber Social was graciously hosted by Kobrin Financial Services on Valentine's Day evening. It was well attended, especially considering many people had special plans already committed with their "loved ones".

Kobrin Financial Services is located at 190 Wikiup Drive in the Wikiup Professional Park. Host & Hostesses were Don and Brenda Kobrin, and their daughter Angela.

Very nice snacks, great wine, beer, soft drinks AND some wonderful chocolates were served. It was truly a nice evening with good conversations and networking amongst the members & guests.

Some of the new attendees were Lee Rink, Sutter Medical Center, Donald B. Henry, M.B.A., Tom Nunes & Dian Nunes of TD & Associates, Toni Chase, Cookie Lee Fashion Jewelry, and Victoria Schnur, Pacific Trust.

Kay Schultz, Superintendent of the Mark West Union School
District provided us with an "update" regarding the District's issues, activities and accomplishments. We are so
very fortunate to have Kay and her wonderful staff working with the children in our District.

Several of our Board Members and Ambassadors were also in attendance. Thank you all for attending, and thank you Kobrin Financial Services for hosting the Social.
